Paul Lawrie Signs Sponsorship Agreement with Exec Air Jet Charter
Scottish Golfer and Former Open Champion
Edinburgh, August 25, 2011 – Scottish golfer and former Open Champion Paul Lawrie has signed an exclusive Jet Charter sponsorship agreement with Exec Air, the global air charter company.
Lawrie, from Aberdeen in the North East of Scotland, has not only achieved success on golf’s European Tour with six tournament wins, but has also managed one of golf’s greatest ever achievements by winning the Open Championship in 1999.
Exec Air, based in Edinburgh, already works with a number of International sports and entertainment agencies. Elena Torres Managing Director of Exec Air commented ‘Paul Lawrie is another addition to our clientele and we are delighted to be working with another Scottish golfing hero. We already fly a number of golf and sports stars, and many of our private jet charter clients have a great love for the game, it made perfect sense to embark on a sponsorship deal with Paul Lawrie who is a great ambassador for the game. Golf is an important sector for us and one which we enjoy working in. Our service really takes the stress out of travelling for these guys; it’s a seamless point to point service, no hanging around at airports with queues or delays. And nothing beats flying home in the privacy of your own company after a tournament’.
On signing the agreement, Lawrie was pleased to be partnering with a company dedicated to providing a first class personal jet charter service to its clients.
He stated: “I’m really excited to be starting a relationship with execair and I look forward to using their private charter service to fly back from a number of tournaments this year. We’ve been extremely impressed by their dedicated team and the service that they provide.”
The agreement will see Lawrie wearing the execair corporate logo on his clothing
